The Story

A magnificent and intensely mineral-driven Northern Italian white wine displaying a bright, clear straw-yellow color. The complex and highly expressive nose opens with an inviting bouquet of fleshy yellow peach, lime zest, and white flowers, beautifully layered with notes of wild jasmine, white tea, and crushed stones. On the structured palate, it offers exceptional tension and crispness, where a round, supple texture is balanced flawlessly by a vibrant, effervescent acidity and deep mineral tones that extend into a long, sharp, and savory finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs brilliantly with oysters, classic Venetian whipped cod (baccalà mantecato), pasta with seafood or pesto sauce, light Asian cuisine, and steamed clams.

94 Points -

"Grown via the historic pergola method this unique vineyard produces a Soave with aromas of fleshy yellow peach, jasmine, white tea and crushed stones. The palate is structured and built to age with flavors of tart green apple, citrus and a mineral edge on the finish. Drink now–2035."

92 Points -

"All tank fermented. A straight-shooting, mid-weighted force of mineral, quince paste, almond husk and Meyer lemon. Reductive in the best sense, with a jitter of bright acidity and the sort of latent power suggesting that this will age very well indeed. Drink or hold."
92 Points -
"Made in stainless steel only with 100% Garganega from a 1.5-hectare site with basalt volcanic soils, the Inama 2021 Soave Classico Carbonare is delightfully fresh, zesty and electric in personality. The bouquet showcases grapefruit, orchard fruit, quince and spicier flavors with a dusting of turmeric or dried ginger over a subtle, mid-weight mouthfeel."
