The Story
Arette Artesanal Blanco Tequila is an exceptional, unaged spirit crafted by the Orendain family at Destileria El Llano, one of the oldest operating distilleries in the heart of the town of Tequila. Honoring traditional, time-tested production methods, this artisanal expression is made using estate-grown 100% Blue Weber agave that is slowly roasted in classic masonry ovens, fermented with natural yeast in open concrete vats, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. The meticulous process results in an incredibly authentic, agave-forward profile that beautifully captures the terroir of the Tequila Valley, offering a pure, vibrant, and remarkably smooth experience.
Food Pairing: Fresh, bright dishes such as white fish ceviche with lime and cilantro, Baja-style fish tacos, vibrant citrus and avocado salads, or simply enjoyed alongside fresh tortilla chips and house-made guacamole.
TASTING NOTES - Crystal clear and brilliantly luminous in the glass, offering a medium-bodied, slightly oily mouthfeel that coats the palate with elegance.
NOSE - Highly aromatic and inviting, bursting with prominent notes of sweet cooked agave, bright citrus zest (grapefruit and lime), fresh green herbs, wet earth, and a crack of white pepper.
FINISH - Crisp, clean, and refreshing, leaving a lingering, pleasant warmth of roasted agave sweetness, mild herbal tones, and a zesty, peppery bite.
SERVE - Best enjoyed neat in a traditional copita or flute to appreciate its full character, though it also makes a phenomenal base for premium, fresh-juice cocktails like a classic Margarita, Ranch Water, or Paloma.
