The Story

Arette Artesanal Añejo Tequila is a beautifully mature and complex spirit produced by the esteemed Orendain family at Destileria El Llano in the heart of the Tequila Valley. Staying true to their time-honored artisanal methods, this añejo is crafted from estate-grown 100% Blue Weber agave that is slow-roasted in traditional brick masonry ovens, fermented with native yeasts in open-air concrete vats, and double-distilled in copper pot stills. It is then carefully aged for 14 to 18 months in American white oak barrels, creating a profound, deeply characterful tequila that seamlessly balances the vibrant, earthy essence of the agave with rich, luxurious notes developed from prolonged oak maturation.

Food Pairing: Perfect for pairing with rich, savory dishes like mole poblano, grilled ribeye steak, or smoked meats, as well as decadent desserts such as dark chocolate lava cake, churros with caramel dipping sauce, or traditional flan.

TASTING NOTES - A rich, inviting dark amber color in the glass, featuring a full-bodied, velvety mouthfeel that coats the palate luxuriously.

NOSE - Deep and highly aromatic, showcasing an elegant bouquet of toasted caramel, creamy vanilla, butterscotch, roasted agave, dark chocolate, and a hint of warm baking spices.

FINISH - Exceptionally long, smooth, and warming, fading gently with lingering impressions of sweet oak, toasted nuts, and a touch of peppery agave.

SERVE - Best enjoyed neat or over a single large ice cube in a snifter, copita, or Glencairn glass to fully appreciate its depth and complexity as a premium sipping tequila.
