The Story

A magnificent and masterfully poised Tuscan red wine crafted by Riccardo Talenti from estate-owned vineyards perched across the sun-drenched southeasterly and southwesterly slopes of Montalcino. Densely rooted in sandy clay loam enriched with friable galestro marl at altitudes reaching up to 400 meters, this 100% Sangiovese (Prugnolo Gentile) undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel before resting patiently for 24 months—60% in 500-liter French oak tonneaux and 40% in large, traditional Slavonian oak casks. It displays a deep, radiant ruby red profile with warm garnet highlights, bursting with an expansive bouquet of macerated red cherries, dark plums, crushed violet petals, and cedar wood, beautifully laced with sophisticated notes of sweet licorice, tobacco, and smoky iron minerality. The palate is full-bodied, sleek, and incredibly velvety, structured by a fine-grained corset of sweet tannins and a vibrant, life-giving acidity that carries into a remarkably long, savory finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with slow-braised wild boar ragù over pappardelle, thick-cut Bistecca alla Fiorentina, herb-roasted rack of lamb, truffle-infused dishes, or mature Pecorino Toscano.
