The Story

A magnificent Central Italian red wine displaying a deep, concentrated ruby purple color. Sourced from a prized 1.5-hectare single vineyard planted at high density on the coastal foothills of Bolgheri, this flagship Superiore expression opens with a soaring, aristocratic bouquet of ripe black currants, wild blackberries, and dark plums. The complex nose is masterfully layered with distinctive regional notes of crushed graphite, wild Mediterranean brush, sweet pipe tobacco, and dark cocoa derived from 24 months of maturation in fine French oak barriques. On the palate, it balances a full-bodied, muscular dark fruit core and a vibrant, linear marine acidity with firmly structured, velvety tannins, concluding in a remarkably long, powerful finish defined by an unexpected Northern Italian twist from the Teroldego grape and a lingering streak of iron-like minerality.

Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with prime cuts of grilled ribeye steak, roasted venison loin, slow-braised wild boar ragù, and long-aged Pecorino Toscano.
