The Story

A refined red wine layered with aromas of blackberry, plum, violet, and baking spice. The palate reveals rich dark fruit, cocoa, and subtle earthy notes balanced by smooth tannins and vibrant acidity. Elegant and expressive, this wine delivers depth, structure, and beautifully integrated complexity throughout.

Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with grilled lamb chops, braised short ribs, mushroom risotto, roast duck, aged gouda, truffle pasta, or herb-crusted beef dishes.

96 Points - James Suckling

Plenty of blackberries, black olives, iron, bark and blackcurrants. Full-bodied, very layered and chewy, with angular tannins that have a lemon zest edge that turns to pine, flowers and hints of spice and cedar. Creamy, supple texture. Bitter citrus at the end. 58% cabernet sauvignon, 39% cabernet franc and 3% petit verdot. Give this three to four years of bottle age to open. Best after 2026.

92 Points - WIne Spectator

Racy, taut and fresh, with a ferrous accent adding nice backbone and tension to the core of lightly mulled raspberry and blackberry fruit. Anise, red tea and singed sage notes chime through the finish. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2035. 900 cases made.
