Sourced from the unique stony cobble soils of the Powerline Vineyard situated high up in the Walla Walla Valley, this classic blend is masterfully co-fermented using native yeasts. In the glass, it boasts an opaque ruby-purple color with an intense, evocative bouquet of black currants, dried cherries, and plum preserves, intricately woven with tobacco leaf, fresh wildflowers, and a hint of white pepper. On the palate, this full-bodied and robust wine explodes with immense pleasure and concentrated depth, showing a plush, velvety bed of tannins and a generous core of dark fruits. Balanced beautifully by a structural vein of stony minerality and rich savory elements, it undergoes 22 months of aging in 65% new French oak barriques to polish its components, resulting in a seamless, exceptionally long, and satisfying finish that is built for beautiful cellaring over the next decade.
