The Story
Glenfiddich Grande Couronne 26 Year Old, an exquisite single malt scotch whisky finished in the finest French Cognac casks. The final toast is a majestically smooth marriage of café crème, brown sugar and spice. While sweet toasted oak and the delicate scent of patisserie swirl in the air, the long-lasting sweet and velvety finish makes every dram a gilded tribute to true opulence. Our 26 year old whisky is matured in American and European oak casks at The Glenfiddich Distillery, before the crowning glory: an extended finish in rare and meticulously selected French Cognac casks. Best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, with a splash of water, or with club soda to expand the flavor.
TASTING NOTES
Nose: Vibrant and lively with an abundance of toasty, oaky sweetness. Reminiscent of a French patisserie, freshly baked Tarte Tatin and buttery choux pastry.
Taste: Deep, velvety smooth and indulgently sweet. Café crème with soft brown sugar and a hint of soft spice.
