On the palate, the whiskey is soft and creamy, showcasing a balanced interplay of milk chocolate, toffee, and baking spices like cinnamon and clove. The custom-toasting process for the second barrel involves a unique "heat ramping" step that embeds phenols into the surface, adding a subtle smoky complexity that complements the underlying peppery rye character.
