Clase Azul Mezcal Bundle 3 x 750ml (Durango, Guerrero, San Luis Potosi) This exclusive bundle features three exceptional and distinctly regional artisanal mezcals from Clase Azul. It includes the bright and nutty Durango (made from wild Cenizo agave), the earthy and smoky Guerrero (made from wild Papalote agave), and the savory, full-bodied San Luis Potosí (made from Green Salmiana agave). Each unaged (joven) expression showcases the unique terroir of its Mexican state and is presented in a stunning, handcrafted decanter inspired by local indigenous artistry.
Food Pairing: Durango pairs beautifully with fatty fish, scallops, aged cheeses (Parmesan, Pecorino Romano), and white chocolate. Guerrero is an excellent match for grilled meats, rich smoked dishes, fresh goat cheese, and dark chocolate. San Luis Potosí complements grilled octopus, smoky chipotle dishes, and aged Manchego cheese.
TASTING NOTES - A magnificent trio of crystalline, unaged (Joven) mezcals, each offering a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel that beautifully captures the distinct, wild agave terroir of its specific home region.
NOSE - Durango: Citrus, fresh herbs, green olive, and clove. Guerrero: Smoky agave, earthy tones, and a hint of dark fruit sweetness. San Luis Potosí: Citrus, mixed fresh herbs, green agave, and wet stone mineral notes.
PALATE - Durango: Peanut, brown sugar, honey, and ripe fruit. Guerrero: Roasted agave, soft smoke, earthy notes, and a gentle spice. San Luis Potosí: Caramelized agave sweetness, burnt sugar, stewed plums, and a savory herbal complexity.
