The Story

A beautifully expressive Châteauneuf-du-Pape offering aromas of ripe blackberry, black cherry, raspberry, garrigue herbs, licorice, and cracked pepper. Rich yet elegantly balanced, it delivers silky tannins, vibrant freshness, layered complexity, and a long, spicy finish that reflects the character of its historic Rhône terroir.

Food Pairing: Pair with herb-crusted lamb, duck confit, grilled ribeye, beef stew, roasted game, aged Gruyère, mushroom dishes, or Provençal cuisine.

95 Points - Wine Enthusiast

Dried herb, bramble and earth are juxtaposed by concentrated dried plum and strawberry in this rich, supple red. It's a powerful, fiery wine spiced with anise, pepper and burnt-caramel tones. Densely packed tannins and sunny acidity lend structure and balance. Enjoyable already it should improve through 2026 and hold much further.

94 Points - Wine Spectator

This has density and drive, but comes off as alluring overall, with a long beam of fig, boysenberry and blackberry paste flavors cruising through, lined with warm anise, singed apple wood and sweet tobacco accents. Offers lovely perfume on the finish, which displays a silky feel despite the weight. Best from 2021 through 2034. 300 cases made, 100 cases imported.

90 Points - James Suckling

Very rich, ripe and sweet-fruit style with abundant, fluid tannins sweeping long and even. Instant appeal. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
