The Story
A refined Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classe red wine offering concentration, elegance, and complexity. Crafted from fruit grown on the historic Château Fombrauge estate, it displays a balanced structure with depth and a polished finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs best with grilled beef, lamb, duck, roasted game, mushroom dishes, and aged hard cheeses.
95 Points - James Suckling
Lots of intense blackberries, dark chocolate, toasted oak and black olives follow through to a full-bodied palate with layers of pretty fruit and plush tannins. Yet, it shows tension and focus. Richer style for 2019, but I like its lavish character. Needs four or five years to come together even more. Try after 2026.
