Sourced primarily from the estate's younger vineyards nestled on classic galestro schist and limestone soils, it presents a bright ruby-red color in the glass. The nose opens with a charming, fresh bouquet of wild strawberries, red cherries, and pomegranate seeds, elegantly overlaid with notes of crushed violets, dried oregano, and a touch of sandalwood. On the palate, this medium-bodied red shows superb focus and balance, wrapping its succulent core of bright red fruit flavors in a crisp vein of refreshing acidity and fine, lightly chewy tannins. Vinified in stainless steel and aged for 12 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, it culminates in a clean, persistent, and savory mineral finish accented by a trace of citrus peel.
