The Story
Carrera Blanco Tequila (NOM 1610) is an authentic, old-school, unaged expression crafted at the historic Casa Tequilera Dinastía Arandina (NOM 1610) in Arandas, Jalisco. Born from the vision of the Camarena family and recently relocated back to their home distillery, this 100% Blue Weber agave tequila is produced using traditional methods, including cooking in stone and brick ovens and distillation in stainless steel pots with copper coils. Bottled at 40% ABV, it showcases a crystal-clear appearance and a pure, unadulterated agave character. The nose opens with bright, vegetal aromas of sweet cooked agave, crisp citrus, and a hint of earthiness. On the palate, it delivers a fresh, clean, and beautifully balanced profile packed with sweet roasted agave, vivid black pepper, and subtle baking spices. The finish is crisp and lively, marked by a lingering, pleasant pepper heat and natural agave sweetness, making it an excellent choice for sipping neat or elevating premium cocktails.
