Rather than acting as a standard sherry bomb, it was aged in Bunnahabhain's shoreline warehouses using a thoughtful vatting of predominantly second-fill Oloroso sherry casks, accented with just enough first-fill and refill barrels. This cask composition allows the distillery’s famously unpeated, oily, and heavy spirit to shine through beautifully.
