The Story

This classic red Burgundy delivers vibrant wild strawberry, crisp red cherry, and tart raspberry aromas met by subtle earth and rose petal nuances. The palate is finely etched and elegant, showcasing a thread of crushed limestone minerality, fine tannins, energetic acidity, and a pretty, balanced finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with roasted chicken with herbs, seared duck breast, mushroom ragout, roasted pork tenderloin, grilled salmon fillets, and aged Comté cheese.

This is a very good generic red. There is lovely Burgundy pinot character, with aromas of dried roses, moss and hints of grapefruit and dried herbs. Quite flavorful but still elegant as a pinot should be, with fine tannins and a pretty finish. From organically grown grapes.
