The Story

Elegant and deeply expressive, this single-vineyard Brunello opens with aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry, violet, tobacco, cedar, and sweet baking spice. The full-bodied palate is layered and refined with concentrated dark fruit flavours, polished tannins, vibrant acidity, and remarkable complexity leading to a long, mineral-driven finish.

Food Pairing: Grilled ribeye steak, braised lamb, wild game, truffle pasta, and aged Pecorino cheese.

Polished and perfumed nose of hazelnuts, chocolate strawberries, sage, cherries and Spanish cedar. Firm and structured, with a full body enveloping just-ripe fruit and chocolate. All balanced by bright acidity. Refined. This would score even higher with a longer finish, but fantastic nonetheless.

The nose mixes sweetness with umami, as vanilla and dark berries play with soil and mushrooms. On the palate, the berries and soil continue their game, while a stony herbaceousness watches from the shadows before a comforting, warm finish of bitter, spicy chocolate.

Blackberry, muted red fruit with a savoury element. Oak driven palate, chewy tannins with an appealing, moreish style.
