The Story
It is crafted from Merlot and Cabernet Franc grown on the steep, volcanic slopes of Paradise Hills Vineyard. Cold fermentation in 100 % new French barrels builds a luxuriously creamy texture while preserving vivid aromatics: strawberry crème, white cherry, honeydew, grapefruit pith, and a kiss of toasted coconut. On the palate the wine is simultaneously plush and energetic—sweet red-berry flavors glide across silky lees softness, lifted by refreshing citrus and a stony, mineral edge. A year of barrel aging adds depth without heaviness, finishing long with hints of rose petal and crushed seashell. This is one of Napa’s most serious, cellar-worthy Rosés, yet it drinks beautifully today after a quick chill.
