The palate delivers an exceptionally deep, complex, and layered profile of dark bramble berries, black cherry, and wild plum, intricately interwoven with sophisticated nuances of crushed flint, shaved truffles, loose tobacco leaf, and an exotic hint of sandalwood spice. It exhibits a powerful yet perfectly seamless full-bodied texture, framed by ultra-fine, velvety tannins and an energetic core of traditional acidity. The finish is remarkably long, noble, and carrying a persistent, majestic mineral elegance.

Food Pairing: Pairs well with Bistecca alla Fiorentina, roasted wild boar, truffle-infused dishes, and long-aged artisanal cheeses.

This is the best ever with incredible depth and focus. The polished tannins display energy and balance. Everything is together. Blackberry, black cherry, mushroom and wet earth. Goes on for minutes. So approachable, but one for the cellar. Mostly from Lamole. Superb.

Made from very old vines with a blend of 90% Sangiovese, 5% Colorino and 5% Canaiolo, this lovely red has delicate, enticing aromas of plum, vanilla, crushed mint and fragrant blue flowers. Elegantly structured with a good depth of flavor, the savory, focused palate features Marasca cherry, orange rind, mocha and licorice. It's well-balanced, with taut, polished tannins and fresh acidity. Drink 2023–2033.
