Aultmore 15 Ruby Marsala Cask Finish is an elegant, limited-edition Speyside single malt Scotch whisky that beautifully marries the distillery's signature delicate style with the rich vibrancy of Sicilian wine. Part of a specialized Marsala Cask collection overseen by Malt Master Stephanie Macleod, this expression is initially matured for 15 years in American oak refill hogsheads before undergoing a distinct six-month finishing period in Marsala Rubino Dolce casks made from red grapes. The resulting dram balances Aultmore's classic crisp, grassy, and herbal backbone with deep Mediterranean fruitiness. The nose and palate burst with succulent red cherries, ripe plums, and a bright, tangy lift of fresh pomegranate, underpinned by soft vanilla and a smooth, refined finish. It is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with its natural ruby-tinged color.
