The Story

Marchese Antinori Montenisa Brut Rosé is a sophisticated, radiant, and beautifully structured sparkling wine that masterfully showcases the incredible potential of Pinot Nero within the prestigious Franciacorta appellation. Produced at the historic Tenuta Montenisa estate near Lake Iseo, it pours a delicate onion skin pink with a creamy foam and an exceptionally fine, persistent perlage. The nose is remarkably fragrant, well-defined, and complex, opening with an inviting bouquet of dried wild flowers, wild red berries, fresh yeast, and toasted hazelnuts. On the palate, this refined Metodo Classico sparkling wine is crisp, energetic, and perfectly balanced, seamlessly marrying its juicy core of red cherries and grapefruit with a rich, savory structure developed through 24 months of aging on its fine lees, culminating in a long, elegant, and harmonious finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with fresh shellfish, savory prosciutto appetizers, roasted pigeon, light white meats, or wild berry tarts with dark chocolate.

92 Points - James Suckling

Restrained and quite raw profile of white pepper and grapefruit. Medium-bodied with a tight, substantial palate and chewy acidity but a good finish. Needs time to soften and develop complexity in bottle. Best from two to three years.
