Sourced from the La Dolores Vineyard at an altitude of 1,100 meters, the grapes benefit from intense sun and cold nights, leading to slow ripening and concentrated aromas. The wine is aged for 24 months in a combination of 80% French and 20% American new oak barrels, followed by over a year of bottle aging. It presents a vivid purplish-red hue with complex notes of plum, dark cherry, chocolate, and herbal undertones like thyme and jarilla, finishing with silky tannins and a persistent length.
