Angel'S Envy Single Barrel is an exceptional, high-proof expression of Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, meticulously aged for four to six years in charred American white oak before undergoing a distinctive finishing process. It spends an additional three to six months maturing in hand-selected ruby port wine casks imported from the Douro region of Portugal. This double-maturation process creates a deep amber liquid that opens with rich, inviting aromas of roasted chestnuts, vanilla bean, mulled wine, and bitter orange peel. On the full-bodied and buttery palate, the higher proof amplifies a complex layer of dark brown sugar, crème brûlée, grilled peaches, and cherry cola, beautifully balanced by a touch of black pepper spice.
